Clinical Rotations at Fullerton Genetics Center

Fullerton Genetics Center – General Genetics Clinic, Asheville, NC

Patients seen at Fullerton include children for pediatric genetics evaluation, adults for evaluation and counseling (e.g. cancer, neurological disorders), and couples/women for prenatal genetic counseling. Genetic counseling students will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of patient care and follow-up where time permits.

In addition, students may have the opportunity to spend time with public health genetic counselors at satellite clinics and on home visits. Meetings that students may attend include a monthly Fetal Board conference to review abnormal pregnancies, case review meetings, and a biweekly journal club.
