Following graduation in 2003, Tracey worked at Duke University Medical Center as a research genetic counselor/study coordinator in the laboratory of Douglas A. Marchuk, PhD and also as a clinical genetic counselor in the Duke Hereditary Cancer Clinic. She joined Ambry Genetics as a cancer reporting genetic counselor in 2014. At Ambry, Tracey was promoted to supervisor of the cancer reporting team in 2015 and to manager of the team in 2018.
Tracey and her husband Mark will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in September. Tracey and Mark live in Durham, NC with their son Derek (16) and daughter Morgan (13).
