Kelly has worked at Duke for over 12 years and currently serves patients through the Undiagnosed Diseases Network.  After graduation she worked as a lab counselor at LabCorp for 3 years.  When she joined Duke in 2008, she coordinated the 22q11 deletion syndrome clinical and research program and enjoyed leading educational and social events for NC 22q11 Support Group.  
She coordinated one of the first exome sequencing studies for undiagnosed disorders in 2010, and in 2012 helped launch the Duke Sequencing Clinic.  In 2014 she joined the Undiagnosed Diseases Network and currently serves as a co-chair for the Genetic Counseling and Testing working group.  She recently co-authored a chapter in the Genetic Counseling Practice textbook.

Kelly and her husband Bryan live in Wake Forest, NC with their two sons, ages 10 and 14.  She enjoys traveling with her family and watching her sons play baseball.
